Brooklines Mission Dispensary Celebrates Opening Week – Patch.com

BROOKLINE, MA — Mission Dispensaries opened its newest Massachusetts store in Brookline on Saturday, with approximately 50 people signed up to purchase cannabis products on day one.

Mission Brookline, located at 1024 Commonwealth Ave. near Boston University, serves adults age 21 and older via online appointments and in-store pickup. Although the store has had an expected slow start for the past few days, General Manager Carlo Lookner said there has been nothing but positivity from customers.

“Everyone who has come in is super happy to hear that we are there,” said Lookner. “Everyone is smiling whether they are wearing a mask or not and many have said they plan to become loyal customers.”

Lookner said the store is especially attracting locals age 22 to 32 and he is hoping customers and employees will continue to spread the word to their friends and family.

“Getting our name out there is definitely the priority,” said Lookner. ” A lot of people are excited that we are in the neighborhood and said they will spread the word.”

The dispensary will also be raising money for a different local charity each month, with Team Brookline for the Boston Marathon as the September recipient.

Mission Brookline, located on the Green Line B branch and MBTA bus route 57, is open from 10 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 12 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. on Sunday.
