ARDMORE, Okla. (KTEN) — A preliminary court date has been set for the alleged accomplice of the man who was shot and killed during Friday’s attempted holdup of an Ardmore marijuana dispensary.

Melissa Mecedes Love, 28, is facing a charge of robbery with a weapon. She’ll next appear before a judge on June 10.

Love was arrested Friday in a car outside The Highest Choice medical marijuana dispensary in the 700 block of Grand Avenue after a clerk at the store shot and killed an armed man who started taking items from display cases.

The name of the man who died is not yet available.

Love remains in the Carter County Jail.
