(July 3, 2019) The Green Lady marijuana dispensary is now projecting an opening date in the first week of August.

The state Cannabis Control Commission voted unanimously last Thursday to approve a production and retail license for the Amelia Drive business, which had hoped to be open by theFourth of July. The Green Lady received a cultivation license several months ago but was not permitted to make or sell any products prior to receiving the latest state license, co-owner Nicole Campbell said. It will begin stocking its inventory and expects to open by Aug. 8, she said.

“We have been cultivating since March but now we can begin to manufacture the products,” Campbell said.

“All the cartridges fall under the product manufacturing license so we couldn’t make any of these before. The edibles fall under the license and the topicals fall under the product-manufacturing license. Now we can start getting our inventory and start making things.”
