More cannabis commerce coverage:

Marin County received 10 license applications for medical cannabis dispensaries.

Up to four licenses will be approved by the board of supervisors. An advisory committee on cannabis meets Jan. 31 at 6 p.m. at Tamalpais Valley Community Center in Mill Valley to take public comment on four of the applications and make recommendations to the county administrator.

Those four applications came from Access Marin Wellness Center, Shoreline Health Center, Urban Hills and Crown Wellness. They are all located along Shoreline Highway in Mill Valley.

Another advisory committee meeting will be held Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. for applications in central and west Marin. That meeting will be at Lagunitas School in San Geronimo for two applications from Forest Knolls Wellness and Craftcanna Health Center in Marshall.

A third advisory committee meeting will be held Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. for four applications in north Marin. That meeting will be at the board of supervisors chambers in the Marin County Civic Center in San Rafael. Applications came from Delta in San Rafael, and from Caregiver Compassion Group Releaf Center, Marin Compassionate Collective and Marin Community Partners, all located along Harbor Drive in Novato.

Eight of the 10 applications are from dispensaries proposed along the Highway 101 corridor. Action is expected to approve up to four of the applications by March or April.
