April 21 (UPI) — An Oregon marijuana store celebrated the cannabis-themed 4/20 holiday by adding a 16-foot joint to its unofficial “Joint Museum.”
Caryle Hearte, manager of Canna Royal in Veneta, said she and her staff were assisted by some customers in rolling a 16-foot joint to be displayed inside the store for Thursday’s marijuana smoking celebration.
“Getting customers involved so that I’m not just a drive-by. you know,” Hearte told KVAL-TV. “I want to be a destination.”
The inside of the store features a “Joint Museum” with rolled cigarettes, including the 16-foot monster, unusually shaped joint sculptures, and a 24-karat gold joint.
“I think that joint rolling is a lost art,” Hearte said. “There’s stories with every one of these and that’s what makes it cool.”
Hearte said the joints on display are actually rolled with oregano instead of marijuana for legal and safety reasons.
