FOXBOROUGH, MA — Marijuana returns to the selectmen’s table Tuesday night.
At 8:05 p.m., the Foxborough Board of Selectmen is scheduled to hold a discussion on marijuana dispensaries in Foxborough and options to consider.
The topic was brought up at the end of 2016 as something for the selectmen to discuss during the new year. Foxborough was one of the few towns where Question 4, a proposal to make marijuana legal in Massachusetts for adults over 21, failed to gain support, with 5,226 residents voting no and 5,011 voting yes.
The town’s most notable brush with marijuana came in 2015, went the selectmen took no action on a proposed medical marijuana dispensary at the intersection of Route 1 and North Street.
Also on tap is a vote on the common victualler license for the Pronti Sandwich Company, a public hearing for the license for the New England Revolution’s 2017 season, and a 2016 year in review presentation.
