Verano Holdings opened a Zen Leaf Dispensary location in Lawrence Township on June 4.
Zen Leaf Lawrence will provide patients with concentrates, edibles, vaporizers and flower; and upon the opening of the adult use market, will do so to adults as well.
According to Vice President of Marketing and Communications David Spreckman, the facility is set up to accommodate well into several hundred patients, or customers, daily.
“I think everywhere in New Jersey presented underserved market areas, [Lawrence] was no different. [We have] great relationship and support from the city officials and the mayor, who actually joined us this morning for our ribbon cutting,” Spreckman said.
The location, right across from the Quaker Bridge Mall on Route 1, sees north of 100,000 cars daily, Spreckman said, calling it “a great location.”
The dispensary has at least 10 point-of-sales systems, positioning it for growth in the adult use market. The set-up of the dispensary moving into the adult use market doesn’t greatly differ from the dispensaries Verano built before the adult use cannabis was legalized in New Jersey, but Spreckman said the company is more mindful of efficiency moving forward.
“Things like making sure our menu is online. People are able to view live inventory, place orders and do an express pick up experience – creating efficiencies and moving people, in out as quickly as possible; but if someone wants to do more of a true consultation, thats something we’ll always make time for,” he said.
