WEST GOSHEN — Following a lengthy investigation. West Goshen police have identified one of the 30 people who broke into a local marijuana dispensary earlier this year and ransacked it, breaking numerous windows.
Police have issued an arrested for Jauwaun Smith, who is believed to be living in the Wilmington, Del. area.
On May 31, just before midnight, the West Goshen Township Police Department responded to the Beyond Hello Marijuana dispensary for a burglar alarm. Officers located numerous exterior windows broken and the business ransacked. It was determined that approximately 30 people, all wearing masks, arrived together and gained entry into the business. They removed merchandise and fled the area.
Smith is being charged with burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and theft, police said.

West Goshen Arrested in shooting
On Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020 West Goshen Township Police Department assisted the New Castle County Delaware Police Department and the United States Marshals with locating Luther Forehand Jr., who was wanted on assault charges related to a shooting that occurred in Delaware. New Castle County PD learned that Forehand was living in the Golf Club Apartments, in West Goshen Township. Officers located Forehand outside an apartment and effected an arrest. During the arrest, a black semi-automatic pistol was found on Forehand’s person. The firearm’s manufactured serial number was found to be obliterated. Additionally, Forehand is a convicted felon which prohibits him from possessing a firearm. Forehand was arraigned by a Judge and failed to post bail. Forehand is currently being held at the Chester County Prison.
